RAM'S HEAD LIVE.... Just announced: we're gonna be at the legendary Ram's Head Live in Baltimore on July 12th. Tickets are $11, and you can get them by contacting us....

Bad News And Good News.... We've received news from the promoter that the (formerly) upcoming JamBalooza Festival has been cancelled. No word yet on ticket refunds or anything like that; you should probably check back with the venue you purchased them from. Sorry to all of you who were looking forward to it -- we certainly were.

However, don't forget that the Utica MusicFest looms in September -- get the details on all of these occurrences on the gigs page.

JamBalooza! A reminder: the big three-day JamBalooza Festival is comin' up at the end of the month. We've added some Showbills for the event to the site; and you can check out the gigs page to get ticket info or to get a link to the festival's site (where you can get directions, camping info, lineups, and all that).

BACK IN PHILLY .... Hey all. We're returning to Philly this next Monday at The Trocadero Theatre. More details soon; check back to the gigs page for the scoop as it becomes available.

New gigs, new links, new photos .... Oh, and hey, if you happen to be in Burtonsville, MD and have a hankerin' for some good Mexican/Spanish cuisine, be sure to stop in at the Chapala/Palenque Bar -- we played there last week and can report that it's definitely worth your time to check it out.

WE'VE JUST ADDED ... a gig at Fletcher's ... opening for internationally-renowned Poi Dog Pondering ... The big day is this Sunday, April 27th ... more info on the gigs page ... That is all.

We're still out there... We've added two new dates at the Brass Monkey Saloon, May 10th and July 5th. Check out the gigs page for more details. Also, this Sunday, April 20th, we're on web-based Distortion Radio at 9:00 pm. Be sure to tune in with someone you love....

GOT YOUR TAXES DONE YET? Remember, on Tax Day we're doing a set at Brownies in Ardmore -- perfect if you've got a refund coming, or to drown your sorrows if you don't.... See the gigs page for more info, and to check out other shows we've got coming up (there's a new one in Burtonsville in May, for all of you Marylanders who don't feel like trekkin' north of the border).

We've also put up some of the fliers for the upcoming JamBalooza festival on the show bills page. JamBalooza is a big, big, BIG three-day indie festival at the end of June up by Pittsburgh, PA -- and we're featured on day two! Again, check out the gigs page for more details.

OH...one more thing. Things were getting cluttered 'round here, so news from 2007 has been moved to an archive page. Check it out if you want to get all misty-eyed and reminiscent.

ED-RADIO! Coming up Monday, April 21st, our own beloved Special Ed will be doing a radio interview on WGMU Radio. They'll be playing songs off of the new disc, so be sure to tune in at 8:00pm to hear it!

NO FOOLIN'. We're gonna be back at Bedrock Baltimore on April 17th and at Asylum again on May 30th... [Check the gigs page for more info]

New gigs. New links. You know the drill.

THERE'S ALOT GOIN' ON.... We've got a slew of new gigs coming up in the next couple of months -- that's always good news. Meanwhile, here on the site, we've greatly expanded the photos section to include about a billion new shots of the band at recent shows, as well as the scans of some of the showbills.

We're also gonna be on the NAIL RADIO SHOW on Sunday, May 17th, the day after playing The Rusty Nail in Ardmore, PA. Check the gigs page for more info, or drop us a line here and we'll fill you in.

HEY! A NEW LAST MINUTE SHOW! We're gonna play this Saturday the 8th at Bedrock Baltimore in, umm, well, Baltimore. We'll provide more details (as well as a couple of other upcoming shows) in the next day or so on the gigs page.

THE HITS KEEP COMING.... Yet another new date! We're going to be doing the Static Chain 2nd anniversary show at SONAR on February 22nd. Watch the gigs page, and we'll fill you in on the details as we get them.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! The Slow Learners wish you a safe and happy New Year! We're gonna be taking a short break from live shows for a bit -- til about March -- but we have a good reason.... We're going into the studio to record our third CD, tentatively titled Junior. We'll fill you in when we know more; until then, you can drop us a line here.
